Flood check

Where does the water go when it rains?

Pick a state or search a street. We run rain over the real shape of the ground and show, hour by hour, where water collects and how deep it gets. Check before you pay rent.

How this works

We take ground heights for a 7 km square around your pin, drop each hour’s rain on it, let local drains carry away a little, and let the rest run downhill and pool. Rivers, lagoons and the sea carry water out.

What it can’t see

Blocked gutters, new buildings, tides and river surges from upstream aren’t modelled. Treat it as a guide to which streets collect water, not an official flood warning. Ask neighbours and check at the inspection.
